8 Holiday Festive Activities to Bring About Joy!

Wow, 2021 has felt like the longest year. It's been a year that brought about all the feelings. But, the holiday season is something that I look forward to every month until December. For today's post, I'm sharing a couple of activities to get into the holiday season and bring about joy. I know that since we're still living in a pandemic, it's hard to get into the festivity. But, just enjoying these beautiful times with family and friends, and focusing on our mental health and happiness is so important. I really do feel that this time of the year is meant to slow down, focus on all that we have to be grateful for, and especially to take care of ourselves. This year was difficult and challenging, so taking this time for our mental health by enjoying and focusing on the moment is much deserved. Because you're happiness and mental health will matter :)

Holiday To-Do List Activities:

  1. Decorate a tree with family/friends - This activity is great to spend with loved ones and it already brings about so much joy for me.

  2. Enjoy a warm and cozy beverage - Yes to that!

  3. Watch a comforting movie - Cozying up on the couch, with a blanket, and some tea or hot chocolate to watch a movie or show is just the best!

  4. Create a relaxing self-care routine for yourself - Take the time to relax and establish a routine to unwind and feel the zen

  5. Do some shopping - You deserve it, friends! Treat yourself to some items that make you feel happy! If you want some ideas, head to the "shop" page on my blog to shop my faves!

  6. Wear some comfy clothes - What is better than just being cozy?!

  7. Cook or bake something yummy - I find that cooking and baking are so therapeutic! So take the time to nicely prepare a warm meal or a dish that you love!

  8. Listen to some holiday music - What better way to get into the spirit?

Have a beautiful and cozy rest of the holiday season and remember to take care of yourself!
