Welcome back to the blog! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the start of September as the weather starts to get a little cooler. I feel like autumn is a really great refreshing season to kind of just have a fresh start on things. And one of those things for me is definently fashion! With colder weather comes some changes to my fashion wardrobe! I'm talking about more jeans, button-downs, sweaters, jackets, and, of course, some ballet flats to be fashionable this season! I absoultly love fall fashion because I feel like it's generally cozy yet chic :) So, for this week's blog post, I'm sharing a few easy and chic fall outfit looks that I love, filled with basic ones to make you feel casual and comfy yet still elevated and put together daily!
1. Button Down, White Jeans, Ballet Flats
My staple look for the fall is a button-down with jeans and a ballet flat. To make this look cuter overall, I love to wear a button-down that is more neutral for fall, like a blue or white, or navy, with white jeans for a more formal outfit. The pairing of a button-down and white jeans feels so chic and classy, which is precisely how I want my dress to make me feel this season. I like to do the half tuck with the button-down to keep the look casual but with a tint of chicness. And, of course, you can never go wrong with a ballet flat! They're seriously the season's look, elevating this look so much. I love a good black ballet flat to make this look more formal and feminine. This is a great work, school look, or casual weekend coffee run look!
2. Neutral Long Sleeve, Vest, Dark Wide Leg Jeans, Sneakers
If you want to feel more comfortable yet still look elevated and put together this season, this look is truly for you. I love putting on a simple long sleeve shirt - I love this one by Ralph Lauren because the camel color is so perfect for the season, especially with the suede and button detaling! I paired it with a black vest, also by Ralph Lauren, to elevate the look and make it more formal! Also, there's nothing better than good old layering for fall! And then, I threw on a pair of darker denim jeans, becasue you can truly never go wrong with a cute pair of jeans for fall. I love a looser wide leg jean to make the look more formal and chic! These jeans from J.Crew are truly so amazing, stylish, and comfy - the perfect duo! This is a great look for school or grabbing lunch on the weekends!
3. Cable-Knit Sweater, Vest, White Jeans, Ballet Flats
You truly can never go wrong with a cozy cable knit sweater for the season. A cable knit is so simple, yet it makes a fall look really chich with accesorization and pairing it with different colors! I love doing a neutral colored cable knit, either grey, cream, white, navy, or a darker green, paired with a classic pair of white jeans to add contrast to the look. A cable knit with white jeans is such a classic look, that's formal and elevated, yet still feels like a look that's suitable for the daily! And to make the look even cuter and perfect for fall, I throw on a black vest for that "preppy" look, and some darker ballet flats, of course. This look is perfect for work, college students, hanging out with friends, seeing a movie, grabbing dinner, you name it. It's the kind of look that makes you feel confident and so put together too. I'll be living in this look this season!
I hope you enjoy all three of these easy and chic outfits to put together this fall for that casual yet super elevated look! Sometimes the self-care we truly need is investing in how we feel, and that can look like putting on an outfit that just makes us feel super confident and put together! Enjoy the rest of your week!
