5 Ways to Style Your Classic Ballet Flat This Fall

Welcome back to the blog! I hope you're enjoying the beautiful fall days and the weather is getting more brisk and chilly! Fall is a great time to slow down and enjoy the little things in life more, so remember to take time for yourself this season. But one of my favorite parts of fall is putting together fall chic outfits, and it makes me feel so confident daily! And let's be honest, I see the ballet flat returning this season! Everyone is wearing them, and they're wearing them for a reason: the ballet flat is a simple, classy, feminine shoe that still elevates and puts together every single outfit. So, for this week's post, I wanted to share a few ways that I'm styling my ballet flats this season to pull together cute, versatile looks for fall!

1. With a blazer, white cable knit sweater, and dress pants

Nothing says "classy energy" quite like a blazer jacket, paired with a white cable knit sweater, some navy pants, and the simple yet elevated ballet flat. This look is perfect for day to night, whether it's going to work, or grabbing dinner with a friend. It's an easy look to put together and will make you feel so confident and classy this fall when you walk out of the door in the morning!

2. With a cashmere sweater, black vest, dark jeans, and a statement belt

You truly can never go wrong with a classic cable knit sweater and jeans, and this look pairs perfectly with your everyday ballet flats, whether they're cap-toe or a single color. I truly feel that you can make any simple look more fun by just putting on a statement belt with some detail or hardware. A belt automatically levels up an outfit, in addition to wearing your favorite jewelry pieces! I love pairing this look specifically with gold rings, bangles, and of course, some classic hoops!

3. With a cable knit sweater, sherpa coat, white jeans, and a belt

If you're looking for the ultimate 'comfy yet still ready to look my best today' look, this one is for you. I love pairing a staple cashmere cable knit sweater with white jeans for a nice contrast to the outfit. Then, you can pair these basics with a cozy sherpa jacket that'll keep you warm when the weather is brisk outside but still looks so cute with the rest of the outfit. The warm beiges and browns in the rest of the look pair perfectly with a beige cap toe flat! Elevate this look with a statement belt and some chunky jewelry to jazz up this look even more!

4. With a blazer jack, beige sweater, and white jeans

If you're looking for a go-to business casual look that will make you look and feel cute, this one is for you. I started with a beige cashmere sweater, a great fall wardrobe color. I then paired it with white jeans to dress the look up more and threw over a navy blazer jacket to make this look more preppy and classy. And, of course, I completed the look with a statement belt with gold hardware to make the look more fun and chic. This is a great casual office work look, college look, or a look for grabbing coffee with a friend!

5. With a navy cardigan, black quilted vest, dark jeans, and belt

There's no fall wardrobe stable quite like a cardigan and jeans, which is the basis of this look. I paired a cashmere navy cardigan for an unleveled casual look. The cardigan is such a good classic piece for fall that gives you a classy, simple look but also keeps you warm! I considered buttoning it or leaving it open over a tank for more of that layered look. I completed the look with a quilted vest and dark denim for a classic look. I love a pair of wide-leg jeans for the season because they make a look so much more chic while still allowing you to feel comfortable. And don't forget your statement belt to bring this look together!

I hope you got some inspiration for pairing your ballet flats this fall! Fashion, for me, is really a way to feel confident and happy every day, and I hope you're able to put together great looks that make you feel good about yourself! Enjoy your week, and remember to take good care of yourself.
