How to Enjoy the Beautiful Fall Season

When I think of the fall season, I think of slowing down, and just calmness and serenity. I love when the weather starts to become colder and filled with more breeze, (yes to sweater weather)! Fall is really the cozy season to incorporate more self-care, and it's pretty much my favorite for that reason :) For today's post, I'm sharing my latest favorite ways to enjoy the wonderful fall season.


First, I'd say that taking walks and being with nature is so peaceful, and especially really enjoyable during the fall! When I just want to clear my head, or when I feel that I need some alone time (which we all do), I love a nice walk to really soak up the high vibrational energy from the outdoors! And during a leisurely stroll, I love to listen to some comforting music that automatically boosts my serotonin levels, when I need that extra boost.


Fall is all about the yummy treats! So, why not treat yourself and enjoy the season to its fullest! I love to treat myself to something sweet and delish with a warm beverage during this season because it makes me so happy! I've been into warm teas, hot cocoa, and of course, apple cider! Maybe do some baking which is extremely relaxing, or just enjoy a yummy treat and something warm with family, a friend, or a loved one :)


Next, go apple picking, or to the pumpkin patch, or a local farm! I'm telling you, it's one of the best activities for fall, so don't miss out! I recently went with my family, and it was just so joyful! I had some of the best cinnamon donuts, warm apple cider, and delish corn on the cob! And, I really want to go again because it's just so festive! And, you're supporting your local farmers, which is always a plus!


Okay, it wouldn't be a blog post without me saying this! But fall is definitely the season to slow down and take care of yourself. Coming from me, I encourage you to really incorporate more self-care and relaxation into your daily life. We're all so busy, but just do more of what makes you feel calm and happy. I've definitely been taking care and listening to myself more, which makes me feel so much better. Lately, I've been really loving a soothing yoga flow after a long day of school, which is so re-energizing. Also, just cuddling in a blanket and watching a comforting movie or tv show brings me so much joy. Lately, I've been loving Gilmore Girls which is on Netflix! And it can also be the small things to take care of you. It all adds up. For example, going for a walk, listening to your favorite music, spending time with a loved one, journaling, lighting a candle, eating some comfort food, etc.!


Get into the festivity by incorporating some decorations into your home. Making my home more fall-friendly makes me feel so happy. Whenever I see fall decorations, I automatically feel this sense of joy. So, decorate a little bit and get in the mood for this beautiful season. You can bring in some more neutral, and cozier decor into your house, which definitely makes me happy! When I think of fall, I think of delicious food, beautiful colors, self-care, comfort, family, friends, and gratitude. And decorations to me are a reminder of this!
