My Favorite Fall Snack

Snacking is something that I love to give myself that little boost I need to finish up the day on a strong note. After a long day of school, I always enjoy a hearty snack to boost my energy and satisfy my hunger. As my latest favorite fall snack, I love having apples and peanut butter, topped with granola and cinnamon. This snack is extremely delicious and nutrient-dense. You get your protein, grains, vitamins, and minerals.


Snack ingredients:

  • 1 Red Apple - Apples are packed with fiber and antioxidants!

  • Organic Peanut Butter - Great source of protein and good fats for vegetarians out there, like me!

  • Cinnamon Oat Granola by Kind Snacks - This granola has a super grain blend along with flaxseed which is great for your digestive health.

  • Fresh Ground Cinnamon - Cinnamon is anti-viral, anti-bacterial, helps cut fat, lowers blood sugar, and has many prebiotic properties which act as food for the good bacteria in our gut.

So, I first cut the apple into semi-circle slices. Then I'll spread the peanut butter on each apple slice, and sprinkle on some cinnamon granola which is just so delicious! After, for more health benefits, I'll add some cinnamon on each slice and enjoy. It's a snack with the perfect crunch in each bite and a delicious naturally sweet taste!
