Enjoying the Small Moments of Summer Through Self-Care

Happy June! Summer is so beautiful because the sunny days automatically bring about those good vibes. I wanted to share a few self-care tips you can practice daily to take care of yourself during this season. I feel that summer comes with such calm, peaceful, and joyful vibes. Lately, I've really been focusing on my happiness, and truly what makes me a happier person daily. I remind myself each day that life is a blessing, and it's important to do what fulfills my happiness. Through my struggle with anxiety, I realized that self-care is one of the biggest contributions to feeling my best self. I also feel that it's super important to really soak in those good happy moments of life, and for me, that can really be through relaxing or detaching myself for a little bit. So, I'm sharing a few ways that you can cherish this time of the year by taking care of yourself:


My Summer Self-Care Ideas:

✔️Go for a walk/spend time outside

✔️Listen to some happy vibes music

✔️Eat a delicious meal that you love and be present when eating

✔️Practice the hobbies that bring you joy

✔️Go on a vacation or get away from your home for a bit

✔️Head to the beach and relax (remember that it's okay to do nothing sometimes)

✔️Dance to your favorite upbeat song

✔️Reach out to a friend

✔️Practice a nice unwinding routine

✔️Do your favorite face mask and skincare

✔️Put on your favorite summer outfits (cozy ones are my favorite)

✔️Pamper yourself

✔️Have your favorite summer drink (I love iced/tropical teas, and juices!)

✔️Watch a new movie/tv series

✔️Get in some exercise that feels good for your body (I love biking, stretching, and going for a nice walk outside)


I've made it a goal this summer to really try my best to stay in this present moment. I know that for me, a lot of my worries and anxieties can come from thinking about the future too much, or even the past. But the most enjoyable parts of life are in the present. And a huge part of relaxation and happiness is being in the here and now. So, here is a tip for both you and me: whenever you find yourself thinking about the future or the past, pause and take a deep breath to rewire yourself to be in this moment.


I'm going to end this blog post by reminding you that it's absolutely okay if all you need is to relax and unwind. In fact, it's good for your wellness and your soul to relax and enjoy the small moments. And that can truly be done through taking care of yourself and nourishing yourself with the love and care you need.
