Hi! Welcome back to the blog and Happy November! The start of a new month always brings me happiness and joy. Somehow, it feels like a good refresh and even a fresh start! For this week's post, I wanted to dive into the topic of people's energy and how that can indeed affect how we feel.
I really started focusing on the importance of practicing positivity after I struggled with my mental health 2 years ago. During times when my anxiety felt uncontrollable, trying to think positively really helped. It helped me see more of the good during times when I was extremely overwhelmed and stressed. If you think about it, positivity is indeed a form of good energy. When we have a more positive attitude, we attract better energy because emotionally, we feel better. When you practice having good energy, you feel more uplifted and happier. When you have more negative energy, you feel more stressed. Every single one of us has vibrational energy. We all have energy that we give off into the world, and it can come in various forms.
Now, I want you to picture this scenario. Say someone comes to you during your work day complaining about everything they have to do and they say that they won't be able to get everything done. After you talk to this person and provide some reassurance to them, they still continue to complain. But, say after talking to the same person and providing them with some reassurance, they seem to feel a little better and have a more optimistic attitude. I would feel better being around this person because that change in attitude will bring me more positive vibes. In contrast, a person with a continuous pessimistic attitude would transmit more negative vibes to me and that might bring me down. This example can show you that the energy of others is something that spreads so easily. That's why it's incredibly important to choose wisely who we surround ourselves with. If people are decently more positive, even when they have a lot of challenges in their life, and those same people just make you feel good about yourself, be around them more.
Negativity can have such a significant impact on not just our happiness, but our mental health. When we're negative about ourselves and when consume negativity from others, it can really affect our mood, how we feel mentally, and the vibrations of our personal energy. So try your best to be positive each day. Once you put more positivity into the world, you're going to attract more uplifting energy that will serve you happiness.
To sum up this post, I want you to remember this one quote is week: "be the energy you want to attract." The more positivity and light we can put out into the world, the more people we can bring into our lives that bring us those good vibes.
